Published as US Postage Stamp

I'm so excited to announce it's finally here!! A year in the making and my "Come On Spring Time" photo has been published as a US Post Office Postage Stamp!  Released in January 2023 in the Snowy Beauty Set.

It's the photo of the yellow Daffodils in the snow (Narcissus).  The original photo is below:

It's actually a photo I took back in the beginning when I was starting to get into Fine Art and before I even had a website. It was early in the spring season and we were all ready for warmer weather and nature to come back into color! The Daffodils were blooming along with some other spring flowers and then we had a cold snap that brought some snow. I had gone over to my parents house and noticed the bloomed flowers in the snow. I had my camera with me so I snapped a few photos. 

Never imagined years later it would be published as a stamp. 

It's pretty exciting! The US Postal Service contacted me a year ago and was hoping it would come out last spring but they didn't get everything done on time I guess. They turned it into a painting. I was a little sad that even though it's 10 different photographers photos, they only gave credit to the person who turned it into a painting so I'm not sure who did the other photos.  Still pretty excited about it though!  They turned out really good I think and very bright and cheerful.
