Originally a small fishing village, Destin has grown into a beloved destination while retaining its coastal charm. Visitors are drawn to its vibrant harbor, world-class fishing, and scenic beauty, making it a perfect subject for fine art photography.
From the shimmering Gulf waves to the golden glow of twilight over the Destin Bridges, every view tells a story of serenity and natural splendor. Whether capturing the tranquil shoreline at dawn or the lively harbor at dusk, Destin offers endless inspiration for photographers and art lovers alike. My favorite sunset spot for photography is the East Pass Snorkel Beach and harbor area.
I just love that feeling I get when I see the beach. My soul sings and my body gets happy chills of excitement. There's just something about it. You can call it one of my Happy Places!
Looking out at the endless water has a way of making your problems melt away or at least make them feel smaller. One of the reasons I love to capture beach scenes. Just looking at the images I can hear the water crashing against the shoreline and remember that awesome feeling. Check out the video at the bottom to hear the waves sing! It also shows some cute Sanderlings and Sandpiper birds running around along the coastline. They are so much to watch, especially when they run...their little legs move so fast as they run to get away from the waves.
From sunrise, to daytime and sunset, I have a large collection of photos from Destin, and other areas along the panhandle of Florida that are great for home, vacation rentals, offices, and hotels.
